If you are visiting the island on a cruise ship and want to get away from the crowd, Octopus Dive School is the place for you. You can spend the day at our secluded location away from the crowds and enjoy relaxing, diving or snorkeling with us.
We do offer all these activities planned around the cruise ship schedules. If you are in a group of divers, snorkelers, or sun seekers, please contact us, and we will accommodate everyone.

We can make arrangements for a private taxi to pick you and your group up from the Cruise Ship dock and transport you to our beautiful home at Gibson Bight, West End. Once you step foot on our private, uncrowded oceanfront location, you will immediately relaxing in paradise.

From open water fun dives, to refresher and children’s PADI courses as well as unlimited access to our double-deck dock, everyone in your group will enjoy a fantastic day. We respect you and your valuables and know that while on vacation that you want to feel relaxed and not have to worry about your stuff. At our dive shop, we have lockers that are big enough to fit all of your belongings from towels, clothing items, bags and anything that you carried with you for the day. We even have an equipment room to lock up any dive gear that you may have brought with you. Enjoy a day of fun without the hassle of worrying about your valuables! When you dive or snorkel with us, you have access to our outdoor kitchen, private dock and lounge area.
Learn the basics and go on a fun dive up to 40 ft deep. This 4 hours course covers the basics, lets you see our amazing reef and may just get you hooked on scuba diving! Minimum age is 10 years old to participate.
If you are a certified diver and have logged dives within the past 8 months, make the most of your day on Roatan with a two tank dive! Spend 4 hours with us and discover two of our favorite dive sites. Must be 10 years and older.
Perfect for those that want to get a glimpse of our stunning reef and enjoy some beach time. Our regular tank dive is 2 hours duration and is for certified divers with logged dives within the past 8 months.

Because of how the reef around Roatan is formed, it’s a quick short boat ride from the beach at Octopus Dive School to where the coral reef begins. This gives us easy access to over 50 amazing dive sites within just 15 minutes of our dive center. This allows us to do two tank dives with a refreshment break on land in between. There are twice as many amazing sites to explore on two tank trips. We arrange special excursions for our cruise ship guests so that you can maximize your time underwater according to the schedule of your ship.
