Become a leader below the surface! Ready to go pro? The PADI Divemaster course at Octopus Dive School is your first step into the world of professional diving. Whether your dream is to guide divers, teach courses, or work in marine conservation, this course will give you the confidence, skills, and credentials to make it happen. The PADI Divemaster course prepares you to supervise diving activities, assist with training, and support dive center operations. You’ll develop advanced diving skills, leadership abilities, and industry knowledge that sets the foundation for your dive career.
You’ll train on Roatan’s world-famous reefs, assist with real dive operations, and work side-by-side with experienced PADI instructors. By the end, you’ll be more than a diver — you’ll be a dive leader.

What You'll Learn
- Assist instructors during courses

Course Structure
Get a head start with PADI’s online learning modules, including dive theory, leadership, physics, physiology, and environmental awareness.

Once you arrive in Roatan, your training becomes hands-on. You’ll shadow instructors, assist on courses, run dive briefings, and take part in daily dive shop operations.

- Final water skill assessments and stamina evaluations

Course Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- PADI Rescue Diver certification
- Have a current EFR/First Aid certification
- Have 40 logged dives to begin
- Be medically cleared for diving within the past 12 months
