Discover Scuba Diving in Roatan
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to breathe underwater, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is your chance to find out. This half-day introduction lets you try diving in the warm, calm waters of Roatan — no prior experience needed.
Guided by a certified PADI Instructor, you’ll learn basic dive skills, use real scuba gear, and take your first underwater journey along one of the most vibrant reefs in the Caribbean.
This is not a certification course, but it’s the perfect first step if you’re thinking about becoming a certified diver or just want to cross scuba diving off your bucket list. Plus, you can do additional non-certified dives if one dive wasn’t enough!

Course Structure
This beginner-friendly program includes three parts, all which are completed in just a half a day. The program includes everything you need: equipment, instruction, confined water skills, and a reef dive.
You’ll start with a simple explanation of how diving works and what to expect. We’ll teach you how to use the equipment, communicate underwater, and manage buoyancy.
In shallow, calm water, you’ll practice a few basic skills like clearing your mask and breathing with your regulator. This helps build your confidence before heading out to the reef.
Once you’re comfortable, we’ll take you on a real reef dive up to 12 meters (40 feet), led and supervised by your instructor the entire time.
